Allison McCartney

Biography

Allison McCartney is a sophomore in the College of Art who hails from Plano, Texas. She is an interdisciplinary student at Washington University with a joint major in Jewish, Islamic, and Near Eastern Studies in the College of Arts & Sciences. She is the recipient of the Conway Scholarship in Art, as well as several non-University awards.

Allison has been involved in art since her freshman year of high school, but wasn't sure it was a career path she wanted to follow until much later. The wide range and depth of her interests in other activities has only added to the multimedia attitude she has brought to her work.
