Statement

I have been a printer/publisher and book designer for over 25 years, continuing my investigation into the integration of content, type, image, and the materials and form of the book. To this I have brought a deep interest in the literature and art of India, having traveled there several times. My work of the last few years has been focused on new translations of ancient Sanskrit texts accompanied by images derived from photographs printed in inkjet and relief plate. The juxtaposition of current technologies and those of traditional printing feed much of this investigation.
