Statement

It is becoming increasingly more important that designers see architecture and urban design as intrinsically codependent in shaping the world we inhabit. The design of a building affects the environment in which it is located; environmentally, spatially, functionally, and qualitatively. Likewise, the environment a building is located within plays an enormous role in shaping the design of that building from solar orientation to material selection, shape, size, and stature.
