Gallery Talk: Susan Blevins

March 6, 2017

Susan Blevins, postdoctoral teaching fellow in the Department of Art History & Archaeology in Arts & Sciences, will discuss the Teaching Gallery exhibition (Re)presenting Heroes, Defining Virtue. Considering the hero in the visual arts across the centuries—from early Greek coins and pottery to contemporary comic books—the exhibition invites critical reflection on the potential for images to shape narratives of communal identity.
