An international experience is essential to a 21st-century education in design and visual arts and is integral to our curriculum. Students are encouraged to participate in the study abroad programs offered by the College of Architecture to further their education as global citizens who are fluent in international cultures and practices.
The College of Architecture offers several study abroad options for students. You can study the full architecture curriculum during semester-long programs in Florence, Italy, and Copenhagen, Denmark, or you can participate in a European Tour or Florence program during the summer semester. A semester-long program in Buenos Aires will be launched in Fall 2009.
You are also eligible to participate in the University's overseas programs, available through the Office of International and Area Studies, which provide students with academic experiences in universities outside of the United States. In the past, architecture students have travelled to South Africa, Chile, and England.
